Abqpetcarehospital in Ormond Beach, Florida, offers an externship opportunity for veterinary students to understand day-to-day operations and gain hands-on clinical experience. Responsibilities include gathering patient histories, performing exams, and assisting in surgical procedures.

An externship experience at Pet Street Veterinary Care will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience.
Externship duration ranges from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules. All veterinary students, regardless of class year, are encouraged to participate.
Students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
