Abqpetcarehospital in Moorpark, California offers a unique externship opportunity for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students. Participants will gain hands-on clinical experience by working closely with supervising veterinarians to manage patient care and perform various medical procedures.
Students are eligible for a living expense stipend of $1,000 and will benefit from a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with employer match. The externship ranges from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules.
An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day‑to‑day operations of practice and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience.
