Join to apply for the Veterinary Extern - General Practice role at NVA General Practice.

We are a small animal clinic located in Madison, MS, offering a hands-on learning environment for externs. Our goal is to help you learn, grow, and become the best veterinarian you can be. We focus on quality medicine, client education, and communication, aiming to "Redefine the Veterinary Experience."

Externs will work closely with supervising veterinarians to gain experience in patient histories, physical exams, treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical procedures, and medical management. They will also have opportunities to enhance communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.

Externship durations range from two to eight weeks, depending on schedules. The program is designed for 3rd and 4th-year veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education.
