An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education who are 3rd or 4th year students are eligible. Externships at Hanford Veterinary Hospital are designed for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students.
Veterinary students in the clinical portion are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend. The stipend amount for Hanford Veterinary Hospital is $1,500.
