Gain valuable hands-on clinical experience through an externship at an NVA hospital. Students will work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians to learn about patient histories, physical exams, treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical procedures, and medical management. This externship offers an opportunity to develop clinical and communication skills in a supportive environment committed to excellent veterinary care.

Externship durations range from two to eight weeks, depending on schedules. All veterinary students in the clinical phase are encouraged to participate.
