Abqpetcarehospital in Chesapeake, Virginia, is offering a veterinary externship for students in their final clinical year of veterinary school. The externship will give students hands-on experience in gathering patient histories, performing exams, and creating treatment plans.
Externs will work closely with a supervising veterinarian and may also provide dentistry services and assist in surgical procedures. A travel stipend is provided, alongside comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Externship experiences range from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules. Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Clinic offers externships to students in their final clinical year of veterinary school.
Veterinary students who are in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
