BluePearl Auburn Hills seeks an Emergency Service Head Veterinarian (ERSH) to lead the 24/7 ER service alongside ER Clinicians, Specialists, and the Leadership Team. The role blends clinical practice with leadership, offering opportunities to shape scheduling, hiring, and training while mentoring a team of ER clinicians.

The position emphasizes high-quality patient care, collaboration with the Medical Director, and growth within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited university is required.
• Successful completion of rotating internship or BluePearl's EmERge program is required.
• 2+ years of clinical experience is required.
• Must possess valid applicable DVM licensure.
• Demonstrated capacity to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ER Clinicians, Specialists, and Leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Lead scheduling, hiring, and training decisions for the ER service.
• Represent the ER department in hospital leadership and meetings.
• Mentor and train junior Clinicians and Interns.
• Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment and drive clinical excellence.

What you need to excel in this role at BluePearl:

• DVM from accredited university required.
