BluePearl Auburn Hills is seeking a full-time Emergency Service Head Veterinarian to lead our ER clinicians, specialists and leadership team in delivering the highest quality care for pets and the community.

The role blends clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, including scheduling, hiring and training, and representing the ER in hospital leadership initiatives. Competitive salary with stipend and production bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Successful completion of rotating internship or BluePearl's EmERge program.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience.
• Valid DVM licensure in the applicable state.

What you need to excel in this role at BluePearl:

• DVM from accredited university required.
• Successful completion of rotating internship or the BluePearl's EmERge program required.
• 2+ years of clinical experience required.
• Must possess valid applicable DVM licensure.
• Demonstrated capacity to multitask and successfully manage competing priorities required.
• Prior shift lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership ability with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated stress tolerance and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to mentor and train less experienced Clinicians and Interns.
