Job summary

Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center - Waukesha is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Dermatologist to join our dermatology team in southeastern Wisconsin. This full-time position offers an established referral base and collaborates with specialists across internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and critical care.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Wisconsin licensure.
• Board Certification in Veterinary Dermatology (DACVD) or residency-trained in Dermatology.
• Strong communication skills with a client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic and allergic conditions in companion animals.
• Perform advanced dermatologic procedures and diagnostics, including skin biopsies, allergy testing, otic evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Critical Care, and Emergency services on complex cases.
• Provide clear and compassionate client communication regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and long-term care plans.
• Mentor technicians and support staff involved in dermatology patient care.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
