Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Veterinary Curriculum Instructor to join the Veterinary Medicine faculty as a Lecturer, full-time, teaching across years 1-3 DVM courses. Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong (3 years minimum) experience in general veterinary practice or mixed/livestock species specialized practice (board certified or board eligible, including ABVP).
• Demonstrated interest or experience in veterinary education and students.

Responsibilities

• Teaching & Student Engagement: Develop and deliver laboratory sessions for year 1-3 DVM students; participate in OSCEs; mentor student development.
• Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate laboratory sessions; provide instruction to support development of communication and professional skills; participate in OSCEs.
• Integrated Problems: Develop and deliver case-based content to year 1-3 DVM students to develop clinical reasoning.
• Course Management: Coordinate with the Clinical Skills Team to organize and manage laboratory sessions, update lab manuals, and assist with procurement and animal care protocols (IACUC).
• All threads: Coordinate and collect assessment data; administer assessments (OSCEs, Entrustable Professional Activities, TBL); support Summer program and Spectrum of Care courses.
