Job summary

Grateful Heart Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary CSR to join our independent small animal practice. You will handle phones, scheduling, client check-in/out, and payments while maintaining accurate medical records.

Role requires good multitasking, teamwork, and solid interpersonal skills. Training available for veterinary terminology and EzyVet usage; physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus but training may be provided.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and basic procedures.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Grateful Heart Veterinary Hospital is an independently owned, small animal practice seeking an experienced Veterinary CSR to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar.
• Check clients in/out and process payments with accuracy.
• Accurately document patient information and care as part of the medical record.

• Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Provide compassionate support to clients during routine visits and difficult circumstances.
• Assist with other administrative and front-desk duties as needed.
• Support a positive work environment that is focused on collaboration, teamwork, professionalism, and provide compassionate and efficient care to patients.
• Support hospital organization and patient care workflow.

Qualification Requirements/Skills:

• Veterinary experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and basic veterinary medical procedures.
• Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time and performing physical tasks.
• Experience with EzyVet software is a plus (not required).

• Demonstrate proficiency in typing and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ensure the completion of all assigned hospital duties before the end of each shift.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and regulations as outlined in company policies.
• Ability to perform other job duties as assigned.
