Veterinary Criticalist (Veterinary Specialist)

The majority of their emergency doctors have been with the team for several years and are former interns. When you find somewhere that feels good and you are happy, why wander? Their hospital works as a cohesive team to give the best care to their patients with both morning and evening cage-side rounds including their specialists, ER doctors, and the technicians that closely care for them. They have multiple tenured RVTs in all services, including two board certified RVTs: one in anesthesia and one in critical care. They have specialists in oncology, radiology, internal medicine, cardiology, and are in the process of hiring a surgeon.

They have a long-standing internship program that teaches a class of 5 new graduates annually how to be the best doctors they can be; training them not just about the medicine, but the communication skills and life skills that will allow them to contribute to the veterinary field for decades to come.

Their hospital has over 12,000 square feet, a CT scanner, and they offer CE to their referral base and train the local K9 officers in first aid for their police dogs.
