Virginia Veterinary Centers in Short Pump, VA is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) for a critical care role. Join a fast-paced hospital with a focus on advanced anesthesia management and surgical nursing in a supportive team environment.

Full-time, four 10-hour shifts, day shift, Monday–Friday; pay range $30–$35 per hour with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, CE allowance, and more.

Qualifications

• Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) required.
• Emergency specialty experience required.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (IV catheter placement, venipuncture, premedication administration, anesthesia induction & monitoring, perioperative nursing care, radiographs).
• Adapt to the different needs of each patient and remain composed in stressful situations.
• Pursue continual learning and growth in veterinary medicine.
