Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Veterinary Communications Manager to educate veterinarians, students, and faculty, while elevating Purina’s image in veterinary medicine across Columbus, Cleveland, or Cincinnati.

The role provides technical support for VET sales, builds relationships with key opinion leaders, and organizes educational events to promote Purina programs. Travel up to 50–75% is expected.

Qualifications

• DVM (or equivalent) required and active U.S. license in good standing.
• 1+ years’ small animal private practice or internship experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% as required.

Responsibilities

• Educate Purina associates on nutrition and veterinary medicine topics.
• Provide technical expertise and act as veterinary representative across Purina departments and universities.
• Plan and execute educational events for veterinarians and hospital staff to support sales and programs.
• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and veterinary groups (AAHA, ACVIM, etc.).
• Build visibility of Purina at veterinary schools and promote Purina initiatives at universities.
