Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Veterinary Communications Manager to bridge science, education and industry relations in veterinary medicine. The role educates veterinarians, students and staff while promoting Purina products and programs across campuses and clinics.

The VCM will travel 50-75% to engage with universities, PVCs and region managers, building Key Opinion Leader ties and elevating Purina's image in the veterinary profession nationwide.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent with active US veterinary license
• 1+ years in small animal private practice or internship
• 3+ years in private practice or similar industry preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Educate Purina associates on nutrition and veterinary topics
• Provide technical expertise and act as veterinary liaison cross-functionally
• Lead educational events for veterinarians and staff to support sales goals
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and veterinary groups
• Develop programs to increase Purina visibility in veterinary schools
• Promote trials of Purina products among students and teaching hospitals
• Roll out communications of Purina initiatives at universities
