Job summary

Beacon Veterinary Specialists seeks a Veterinary Supervisor to lead the clinical team on the floor, focusing on training and developing technicians and assistants. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, anesthesia, ER, and specialty care with strong clinical credibility.

You will supervise training, coach staff, and reinforce hospital standards, while maintaining a significant on-floor presence to drive performance and consistency.

Qualifications

• Active California RVT license required.
• 5–7 years veterinary clinical experience with demonstrated technical proficiency.
• Training, mentoring, or staff development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time clinical support and guidance on the floor.
• Reinforce standards of care, protocols and technical execution during cases.
• Serve as a resource for anesthesia, ER, and specialty procedures.
• Lead and mentor technicians and assistants in core clinical skills.
• Develop individual development plans and assess clinical competence across roles.
