Job summary

CSU Veterinary Health System seeks a Clinical Pathology Medical Laboratory Professional in Fort Collins, CO. You will perform chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, and fluid analyses, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting for animal health decisions.

This essential, full-time role may require weekend work, after-hours, and emergency testing during disease events. Signing bonus and relocation assistance may be available; prior ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, medical technology, or related fields.
• Experience with clinical pathology diagnostic assays is preferred.
• Clear and concise communication with attention to detail; knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine clinical pathology tests (chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, fluid analysis).
• Ensure tests are accurate and reported with timely turnaround times.
• Provide backup coverage for on-call and shift coverage; assist with SOP reviews and QA activities.
• Deliver exceptional client services and resolve testing issues or complaints.
