Job summary

Animal Health Care Denver is seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to lead our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. You will bring a solid veterinary operations background, provide clear leadership, and manage multiple priorities to sustain the clinic’s high standards of care for animals and families.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, personnel management, scheduling, and inventory, while coaching colleagues toward continuous improvement and a strong client experience.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
• Comfortable working part time on the floor, both in the back and up front.
• Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on personnel management, hiring, training, and development.
• Manage clinic operations, including scheduling and inventory control.
• Guide colleagues toward continuous improvement and strong client experiences.
• Balance business needs with staff welfare and clinic quality.
