Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, escort to exam room, record weight and vital signs in EMR.
• Assist doctors with appointments, surgery, dentistry and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, collect specimens, handle and dispense medications as directed.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay test results, and maintain records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist in anesthesia and recovery.
• Perform in-hospital treatments and monitor patients, keep them clean, fed, and comfortable.
• Provide backup phone/front desk support as needed.
