Job summary

You will schedule exams, manage records in Clinic HQ or PetPoint, assist with medications, and coordinate with foster families and external pharmacies. On‑site work with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting (clinic, hospital or shelter).
• Strong customer service and communication skills under emotional situations.
• Proficiency with computer systems including MS 365 and veterinary practice management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and maintain a professional, welcoming reception area.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email from departments, fosters, and the public.
• Provide administrative support to the Medical Department and maintain medical records.
• Schedule exams and surgeries for in-shelter animals, foster pets, and public clients.
• Manage patient intake and discharge, including client education and support.
• Coordinate prescription requests with external pharmacies and assist with inventory.
• Support volunteer onboarding and safety training, and address client concerns with professionalism.
