Job summary

VCA Far Country Animal Hospital in Palmer, AK is seeking a friendly front-of-house team member to greet clients, manage the multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and process payments. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self-directed, and able to stay calm during busy periods.

You will handle medical records, ensure the lobby is clean and odor-free, and demonstrate computer literacy with Word, Excel, and Outlook while quickly learning new software.

VCA Far Country Animal Hospital is seeking to add a front-of-house Rock Star to our team. The successful candidate will have solid multi-tasking skills, impeccable customer service and perform with a high level of accuracy - all with a smile on your face! The team at VCA Far Country is fun, hardworking and we strive to take the best possible care of our patients and clients.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is detail oriented and has the ability to own their oversights and mistakes

Essential duties of this position are:

• Greeting clients, answering multi line phone system, making appointments
• Cash handling-collecting deposits and processing payments
• Managing medical records, reports and correspondence
• Ensuring lobby and other client accessible areas are neat, clean and free from odors.
• Computer literacy, Able to utilize Word, Excel, Outlook and be adept at learning new software
