Job summary

VCA Far Country Animal Hospital in Palmer, AK is seeking a relief Licensed Veterinary Technician with experience and diverse small animal skills. Compensation ranges from $22-$32 per hour, depending on experience and licensure.

• Must hold veterinary technician credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT).
• Experience with small animals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Prepare for and assist in surgery.
• Provide dentistry, radiology, venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Support patient recovery and post-operative care.

VCA Far Country Animal Hospital is seeking a relief, Licensed Veterinary Technician with experience and diverse, small animal skills.

Compensation: $22-$32 Pay dependent on experience and licensure.

Schedule: 4/10’s with some Saturdays.

Location: 2701 N Liahona Dr., Palmer, AK 99645
