Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support nurses and vets with patient care and in-patient procedures, delivering exceptional service to clients and their pets. You will work within a supportive team, help with monitoring, feeding and daily care, and assist during surgeries and procedures in line with regulatory standards.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) you will support the nurse and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care delivering exceptional care always there to our clients, patients, and colleagues. Your career means more than a rota and a job title, that's why we offer:

About you

you're skilled at providing exceptional client care and are passionate about caring for pets. you're a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you. We welcome applications from candidates able to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and who are flexible and willing to learn. This role is not suitable for young workers in line with Health and Safety Executive (government) direction due to the expected duties of the role.
