Job summary

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital - Mount Laurel is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join a busy, referral-focused team. The role offers advanced diagnostics, interventional cardiology, and collaboration with Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, and Radiology across the Ethos Veterinary Health network.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained in Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical and interventional cardiology care, diagnosing and managing a broad range of complex cardiac conditions in referral, emergency, and hospitalized patients.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and Holter or telemetry monitoring to guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term case management.
• Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Radiology, and Emergency teams to develop integrated treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for emergency echocardiograms and catheterization procedures as needed to support urgent patient needs.
• Partner with overnight Emergency and ICU teams to provide continuity of care and expert consultation for hospitalized cardiac patients.
• Utilize advanced hospital resources including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, telemetry, and specialized ultrasound capabilities to support diagnostic and interventional cardiology services.
