Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join a highly collaborative specialty and emergency hospital in Monroeville, PA. The role features advanced diagnostics and interventional cardiology within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include echocardiography, ECGs, Holter monitoring, and on‑call duties, with access to CT, MRI, and dedicated ICU resources.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained in Cardiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to continual learning and advancing specialty medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical and interventional cardiology care for referral, emergency, and hospitalized patients.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter monitoring.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Exotics, and Emergency teams to optimize patient care.
• Participate in on‑call duties for emergency echocardiograms and catheterization procedures.
• Partner with overnight Emergency and ICU teams to ensure continuity of care for cardiac patients.
• Utilize hospital resources including CT, MRI, telemetry, and specialized ultrasound capabilities for diagnostics and interventions.
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians through timely communication and expert consultation.
• Guide pet owners through diagnoses, options, and long‑term management with empathy and clarity.
