Veterinary Assisting Instructor Opportunity
Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of Veterinary Assisting Instructor - P11287 with the Division of Workforce Development.

What You'll Do
The Veterinary Assisting Instructor is a position housed within the Division of Workforce Development that provides instruction for the Veterinary Assisting program and reports to the Director of Business and Workforce Development. The instructor is responsible for effectively teaching the program, creating an ideal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of discipline, and being able to transfer knowledge to students, while staying abreast of evolving regulations within the industry.
Persons applying for this position must be dependable, highly responsible, independent, self-starting, and have the ability to interact with a diverse student population.
Who We're Looking For
Must be a licensed Veterinary Technician with a minimum of five years of experience in the field. or a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in a veterinary program.
