Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostics.
• Educate pet owners on proper care and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate medical records and inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and their pets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; veterinary assistant certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is a MUST.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for animal welfare.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is advantageous.
