Santa Fe Animal Shelter, in partnership with iHire, is seeking an experienced full-time Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join Clare Eddy Thaw Animal Hospital on the Santa Fe Animal Shelter campus. Our hospital operates as a full-service general practice and is a non-profit organization where all proceeds benefit the shelter.
Responsibilities include:
Candidates should have veterinary hospital experience, be self-motivated, compassionate, and possess a strong work ethic. Bilingual (Spanish) speakers are a plus. Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for most of their shift. Our team works four 10-hour days per week.
Qualifications: RVT or CVT preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and work as part of a progressive team is essential.
Compensation: $30,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The hourly rate ranges from $15 to $25.
