Qualifications
- Experience in small animal general practice preferred.
- Solid understanding of preventive veterinary care.
- Familiarity with Cornerstone practice management software.
- Strong client education and communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with wellness exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Administer vaccines according to age and medical history.
- Educate clients on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention options.
- Prepare, calculate, and administer medications under veterinarian direction.
- Perform blood draws and collect samples for laboratory testing.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records.
