Job summary

Qualifications

• NAVTA approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians to ensure quality pet care.
• Prepare procedures and monitor hospitalized or surgical pets as allowed.
• Educate clients on wellness plans and hospital services.
• Obtain medical history and maintain charts.
• Maintain safe, clean treatment areas and assist with surgeries as applicable.
• Mentor paraprofessionals and support team communication.
