Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program completed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to perform NAVTA approved veterinary assistant skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians to ensure quality pet care.
• Educate clients about pet health and hospital services.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and proper medical charts.
• Assist with procedures and anesthesia as allowed by state acts.
• Mentor other paraprofessionals in the hospital.
