• Collect and process work charts.
• Enter in-patient charges and procedures in billing system.
• Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors.
• Process payments and monthly statements.
• Resolve escalated financial problems with clients; manage NSF checks.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable.
• Prepare, print and mail invoices or statements to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be dependable and punctual.

Position Overview

Join our team as a Veterinary Assistant Supervisor (RVT) who performs the duties of medical technical staff (e.g., technicians and assistants) as well as scheduling and supervising the staff of the assigned department. Expedites the care and efficiency of the department. In charge of patient care standards for the department. Must lead the team by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing
• Collect and process work charts
• Assist with entering in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system
• Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors
• Process payments and monthly statements
• Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and "NSF' checks"; determines when special financial agreements are appropriate
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable
• Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Be dependable and punctual

Qualifications (Required)

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• Must have at least 5 years of experience, RVT licensure preferred
• Must have experience with training employees, leading a team, and managing employees

Schedule: Full-Time, daytime weekday shifts and some weekends

Pay Range

$21 - $22 USD
