VCA Promenade Animal Hospital in Lauderhill, FL is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to oversee clinic operations and lead a team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. The role offers $21−$23 per hour based on skill, experience, and licensure, with full-time status and weekend rotation required.

Responsibilities include directing floor workflow, mentoring staff, participating in hiring, and refining clinical protocols while upholding VCA policies.

Competenze

• 5+ years of clinical experience.
• Team leadership experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for Veterinary Medicine and patient care.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred but not required.

VCA Promenade Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor (credentialing preferred but not required) to helpoversee clinic operations and leadour team of Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants.

We are a 2-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Lauderhill, Florida.

Compensation:

$21 - $23.00 / hr is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.

Schedule:

Full time, weekend rotation required

About the Role

AsVeterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing work flow on the floor
• Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture
• Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital
• Help with the interview process for potential new hiresand onboard all new associates
• Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
• Conduct staff meetings
• Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
• Mentoring technicians within the department
• Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
• Refining and implementing protocols
• Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT (FL CVT Preferred)
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Team leadership experience
• Passion for Veterinary Medicine
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
