Bond Vet in Boston/Lynnfield is seeking a proactive Veterinary Assistant. You will partner with Veterinarians and Vet Techs to deliver high-quality care, provide compassionate client service, and support a range of clinical tasks from scribing to assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as veterinary or kennel assistant.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask accurately.
• Typing and proficiency with multiple computer systems.
• Passion for pets.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for Veterinarians during visits.
• Assist with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and other procedures.
• Restrain pets for exams in a compassionate manner.
• Record and report patient symptoms.
• Clean, restock and maintain clinic areas.
• Explain pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients.
• Assist with client interactions, scheduling and education.
