You will help maximize productivity, communicate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow, and assist with procedures as allowed by state acts, while mentoring peers. This role emphasizes client education, proper medical record keeping, and safety in a busy, pet-focused hospital.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians to maximize productivity and care quality.
• Educate clients about pet health and preventive care.
• Maintain safe, sterile, and organized treatment areas.
• Assist with procedures that do not require veterinarian or technician assistance.
• Prepare work for procedures and monitor hospitalized or surgical pets as allowed.
• Mentor other paraprofessionals in the hospital.
