Daily duties include maintaining patient flow, assisting with procedures, and keeping exam rooms clean and organized while contributing to a positive hospital culture and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program certificate or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow of patients.
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs.
• Set up or carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for safety and cleanliness.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Mentor other members of the hospital team.
