Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or the equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians
• Ensure safety of pets, clients and associates
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, exam rooms and labs
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs
• Mentor other hospital team members
