Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate of NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program or the equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography tasks
• One year related experience preferred (customer service)

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians to ensure quality pet care and maximize productivity
• Educate clients about wellness plans and hospital services
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and support hospital safety protocols
• Assist with procedures within state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines
• Mentor other paraprofessionals in the hospital
