Qualifications

• Prior veterinary or animal care experience is helpful but not required; full training provided.
• Willingness to learn cleaning and disinfecting methods and equipment.
• Ability to appropriately handle and restrain animals.
• Ability to learn basic animal care, husbandry, and veterinary terminology.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication.
• Willingness to work varied hours including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Willingness to cross-train with CSR department.
• Willingness to work at Castle Rock, CO location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital areas (treatment rooms, exam rooms, walking areas, and yards).
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties for all hospital areas.
• Stock supplies and notify Inventory Manager of low stock.
• Maintain animal identification (name tags, cage cards, medical records).
• Provide basic care for outpatient, boarding, and hospitalized animals (feeding, bathing, kennel cleaning).
• Record appetite and signs of illness; observe and report changes promptly.
• Assist with imaging, ultrasounds, and radiographs after training and radiology badge.
• Assist CSR with front desk duties and client discussions after training.
