Job summary

Balboa Veterinary Medical Center in Granada Hills is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has some experience as a Veterinary Assistant and flexible availability for opening or closing shifts.

You will assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries, handle and restrain animals, administer medications and vaccines, collect lab samples, and keep accurate patient records while educating clients on pet care in a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

This full-service veterinary practice provides compassionate, comprehensive care ranging from wellness and preventive medicine to dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and urgent care. Our practice sees dogs, cats, and pocket pets, and the team is committed to creating a welcoming, nurturing environment for both clients and their pets while providing personalized treatment plans focused on each patient’s health and comfort.

We're currently looking for a Part‑Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience as a Veterinary Assistant, and have flexible availability, as schedule may include both opening and closing shifts.
