Job summary

VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinary Assistant for a full-time 6pm–6am position at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT. Compensation ranges from $23 to $30 per hour, based on experience and skill set.

Qualifications

• Overnight, full-time availability (6pm–6am) is required.
• Emergency/critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sedated procedures.
• Utilize full technician skills in daily tasks.
• Collect patient histories and perform basic physical exams.
• Perform venipuncture and IV placement as needed.
• Assist with radiology while following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with all hospital services as part of the care team.
• Provide compassionate care to clients and patients.

VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking Full time, Overnight Emergency Veterinary Assistant to join the team at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT.
