In this veterinary technician or assistant position, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and client service. This includes supporting surgical and diagnostic procedures, monitoring anesthesia, educating pet owners, and ensuring a safe, comforting experience for every pet.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Handling
  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to dogs and cats during exams, treatments, and recovery
  • Ensure pets are comfortable, monitored, and safe at every stage of their visit

Veterinary Technical Skills
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection
  • Support veterinarians in medical procedures, including surgical prep and recovery
  • Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgery using advanced equipment

Client Education & Communication
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet parents regarding treatment plans, post-op care, and follow-up instructions
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact during emergency or sensitive situations

Teamwork & Workflow Support
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to streamline care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and a clean, organized clinical environment
