BluePearl Pet Hospital in Olympia, WA is hiring an Oncology Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support Technicians and Doctors during chemotherapy infusions and help prepare materials for treatment.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an exceptional Oncology Veterinary Assistant at our Olympia, WA hospital!

Pay: $22 - $29 / hour

This is a starting point and dependent on leveling through our competency system.

As an Oncology Veterinary Assistant, you will:

• Assist the Technicians and Doctors monitoring patient who is receiving a chemotherapy infusion

• Ability to set up appropriate materials for short and long chemotherapy administration

• Comfortable with restraint

• Ability to safely dispense, reconstitute and administered SQ/IM chemotherapy agents

• Stocking and cleaning

• Ability to properly wrap and shave for an IV catheter for chemotherapy infusion
