South Metro Animal Emergency Care is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our highly skilled team for day shifts, either part-time or full-time. Some holiday and weekend hours will be required.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Deliver exceptional, compassionate nursing care to patients using your technical skills, such as:
• Triage emergency cases as they arrive.
• Provide in-patient care for critical patients, including comfort care.
• Safely and effectively restrain animals.
• Advocate for patients and clients by answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Help maintain facility cleanliness.
• Demonstrate empathy for clients during stressful and emotional moments, such as end of life.
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
