We are seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician Instructor to teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 PM to 10 PM. This role offers a flexible schedule and competitive benefits, providing an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and shape the future of veterinary technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with program curriculum
  • Monitor student attendance, address absences, and submit weekly reports
  • Track student progress, provide support, and maintain an 80% student success rate
  • Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and submit grades promptly
  • Organize guest speakers, field trips, and hands-on learning experiences
  • Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and one-on-one student guidance
  • Assist with program development, externship coordination, and supply inventory
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives (optional)
Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an AVMA CVTEA-accredited program
  • 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience
  • Current license/certification (LVT or equivalent as required by state regulations)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
