Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in delivering high-quality care for pets and educating clients on preventive health plans. The role requires NAVTA-certified training or equivalent experience, age 18+ for radiography, and comfort with hospital environments.

Expect to work with a team to maintain safety, accuracy of medical records, and efficient workflow, including assisting with procedures and client communication.

Qualifications

• NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant program certificate or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to perform NAVTA veterinary assistant program skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient service; prepare procedures and ensure client/pet comfort.
