Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience as veterinary assistant or related role.
• Proficiency in animal handling, imaging, and basic nursing tasks.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam, outpatient, surgical and dental workflows.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and dentistry.
• Provide safe, gentle handling and restraint during care.
• Prepare patients, equipment and treatment areas for procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support patient recovery as directed.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Maintain medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review plans, meds, and discharge instructions with clients.
• Build positive client relationships through education and service.
• Keep exam rooms and spaces clean, organized, and ready.
