Job summary

B & A Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary assistant/technician to support patients through triage, lab work, imaging, and nursing care. You will assist doctors in exams, surgeries, and treatments while communicating plans with pet owners.

Candidates with RVT/Registered status or extensive veterinary experience are encouraged to apply; multilingual skills are a plus. Excellent patient care and compassion are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician preferred.
• Experience in exam rooms, treatment area, surgery, dentals and their associated technical skills is preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restrain pets and triage incoming patients.
• Collect and analyze lab samples; assist with diagnostic imaging.
• Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases and assist with surgeries.
