Job summary

Pine Grove Animal Hospital is looking for a Full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Parker, CO.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients, from hands-on care and outpatient treatments to laboratory work and admitting/discharging patients. Thrive supports growth across nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant (direct patient care).
• Strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and EtCO2 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care).
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments and laboratory tests.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients.
• Support veterinary doctors with clinical needs and documentation.
