We are AAHA accredited and focused on preventative wellness with integrative treatments. You will support veterinarians, technicians, and front office staff to meet the needs of clients and patients.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience, comfort around all types of animals, and excellent customer service. We offer a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Veterinary Center of Parker, Inc. has a full-time opening for an Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

Who We Are:
We are an AAHA accredited hospital dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine. We focus on preventative wellness including breed specific healthcare as well as offering integrative treatments such as laser and muscle response testing.

What You'll Do:

As a veterinary assistant, you are a key member of the team providing support to the veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and front office staff to meet the needs of our clients and patients. Typical duties include obtaining samples and setting up for laboratory procedures, client communication and education, performing medical procedures and treatments, ensuring medications are filled and explained to clients, operation, and maintenance of instruments and equipment, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, assisting in radiology, answering phones, help with scheduling appointments, and cleaning and maintenance of hospital.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 1+ years experience working as Veterinary Assistant preferred

• Experience with animal restraint

• Comfortable around all types of animals

• Superior customer service skills

• Attention to detail

Pay: $16-20/hr Wages dependent on Veterinary Experience

• Monday to Friday 7a-5:30p
• Rotating Half Saturdays (No Sundays) 7:30p-12:30p
